Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development of compliant, differentiating, compelling, and executable solutions that meet or exceed customer requirements. Articulates solution in proposal response with emphasis on scoring to win based on proposal evaluation criteria. Solutions are developed under the direction of the Lead Solution Architect (LSA). LSAs are responsible for leading the Solution Team using the Solution Development Methodology; directing all engineering efforts to develop solution artifacts; and articulating strengths and discriminators consistent with the win strategy and responsive to evaluation criteria.

The Okta Architect possesses an in-depth knowledge of principles, concepts, and techniques for implementing Okta solutions for large enterprises.  This work extends to in depth interpretation, analysis, and clarification of customer requirements to resolve the most complex challenges facing the customer such as federation and partner on boarding challenges.  They are focused on creating sustainable, secure, and scalable solutions that will span the varied DoD use cases.  The Architect will develop advanced technological ideas and provide guidance to enterprise governance teams along with the implementation team executing the designed solution.  They will explore new technologies and act as an expert Okta SME presenting innovative solutions that solve complex customer problems.  He or she will provide technological leadership, training, mentoring, and guidance to the implementation team.  In addition to the noted items, key tasks for the Okta Architect include:

  • Review and acclimate to customer enterprise ICAM solution needs with an eye to use cases that myAuth can solve
  • Technical collaboration with implementation team and customer stakeholders (e.g. ad hoc and ongoing meetings) to guide the development of workflows and technical design; expert troubleshooting of the most challenging issues which may arise during solutioning and implementation
  • Provide input and review of Functional and Technical Specifications
  • Support activities to integrate a Remote Identity Proofing (RIDP) vendor and design solutions leveraging RIDP capabilities that provide proofed identities, enhanced fraud protection, and leverage RIDP vendor capabilities that may bring added value to the customer
  • Consult on and review architectural diagrams (e.g. SV-1, Network)
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Okta best practices
  • Knowledge of NIST 800-63 publications and impacts on large scale Okta enterprise implementations
  • Guide Lifecycle Management of identity solutions
  • Monitoring industry developments and trends leading to recommendations to further optimize the Okta implementation focusing on security and fraud prevention improvements

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
  • Okta Certified Architect
  • US Citizen
  • Able to obtain Public Trust clerance
  • Experience with implementing remote identity proofing (1Kosmos)
  • DoD or Federal Okta Implementation experience

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
